• The City of Lincoln has an active historic preservation program, housed in the Planning Department since 1980. The Planning Department website includes listing of all the local landmarks and National Register resources in Lancaster County. Ed Zimmer is Lincoln's historic preservation planner and he makes available the files, photos and research resources gathered by the City program, as well as advising on local history research.
