From the Lincoln Journal Star
Ed Zimmer, Lincoln’s historic preservation planner, will lead a walking tour through the Woods Park Neighborhood from 2 to 3:30 p.m. next Saturday, May 13. The tour will explore the Bungalow Historic District, with its concentration of early 20th century bungalows, and the East Lincoln/Elm Park Landmark District, home to a variety of late 19th and early 20th century home styles including smaller Queen Anne and larger four-square homes.
Zimmer will provide his usual insightful comments on the history and architectural styles of many homes along the route. The tour begins and ends at 33rd and L streets on the east side of Woods Park. Parking is available in the lot on the east side of Woods Park (Woods Tennis Center). All are welcome.
